Excellent. Highly recommend. Got about 10 different quotes after sending the entire building plan from architects and engineer that looked confusing to us and they got back very fast with a proper quote and Southend Steels were the best price by a significant amount. Highly professional, great communication, and no messing about. Keeley was great, very friendly and fast in getting things done. Even just comparing the quote process, all the others took long to get back and sent unprofessional looking quotes that were much dearer and some of them in broken English. With these, and dealing with Keeley, the communication was excellent and you don't feel like you're being robbed. Delivery was bang on time and easy. Can't fault them at all. Highly recommend.

I was given the details for Southend Steels from an old school friend. Honestly they couldn’t have done more to help me. Amelia was on the phone whenever I needed her and gave great support on materials needed for the job. I had 2 deliveries both of steels and timber. The driver was incredibly helpful and ensured that each delivery was dropped in the correct location. He even helped drop the steels in a really awkward position. I can’t recommend this company enough. If you need any steels or timbers then these are the guys for you.

Been meaning to write a review for a while now deal with various other building material suppliers they do not touch the service I recieve from Southend steel & timber. Always recieve an impeccable service great prices and quick delivery’s. They are the go to place for hard to come by materials I normally deal with Amelia, her age does not match her knowledge and work ethic.

Good experience overall. Stan & Rusell went well beyond delivering the steel late into the evening.. Southend Steel was the best priced that we found. Would definitely use again.

Great service from Southend steels. The communication post manufacturing of the beams was spot on, especially with some tricky connections and chimney support plates welded to the beams. Amelia was very professional and helped process the order liaising with myself and the client. Adam and John helped with steel design, dimensions, connections. Definitely recommend Southend steels.

I don’t usually leave reviews but thought Adam and the team was well worth recommending, over the years they have helped us with various projects from making equipment for our BBQ, building a smoker from scratch, fabricating a shelter to general steel beams. Small order metal company supplied all the steel for a recent extension at our home, never bought steel before so was a bit unsure of where to buy from, a friend recommended Small order metal company and the service (and price! ) was excellent - if you need steel don't shop around, just use these guys.
